Michael is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia for his undergraduate studies and then proceeded directly to the University of Notre Dame Law School. He became a member of the Indiana Bar in 2005. After working in private practice and as in-house counsel at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Michael joined Fisher Maas Howard Lloyd & Wheeler as an attorney in 2013.
Michael focuses his practice on third-party insurance defense, business, and commercial litigation. He has served as lead counsel in jury trials, bench trials, and hearings before the American Arbitration Association. He has defended clients in personal injury matters, 42 U.S.C. § 1983 litigation, contract, and business tort litigation.
Michael is a married father of two. He is an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (Xi Sigma) and is a life member of the Morehouse College National Alumni Association (Indianapolis Chapter). Michael has served as Chair of the Board of the Jane Pauley Community Health Center. He is also actively involved in his church.
